Any experiences with this light?

I am looking for brightness not dozens of levels. I don't get it why they don't make this one with a "tactical" clickie tailswitch.

this item is on backorder at DX
this means deliverytime is unknown.

items in stock ship in about 1 week so items on backorder probably will within 6 monts(if they have palns for ordering this light)

This is a nice little light and has a spring to prevent battery rattle. Stay away from the clicky model because it has poor quality.

I also got one. The brightness on new 123 cells is comparable to my P1D-CE Q5 on short distances. The DX light has less output, less throw and a greenish tint. It actually feels pretty solid, and the twisty action is smooth. The clip is pretty sturdy despite the flimsy look.

I use mine as a bike light, the lack of different levels is a no-go for EDC use.

Good light for the price.

i replace the driver with this and you can have 20 levels of different modes just like the one in my video :naughty: -

Nice mod anyway! Seems like a bargain, it really increases the value of the light!
