Sold/Expired FOUND : piece of Maglite D-size barrel

Howdy folks!

For a custom mod I'm looking for a piece of around (or more so I can adjust the size myself) 32mm long from a Maglite D-size barrel. It doesn't matter which color it is. I know a lot of people cut down Maglite barrels so maybe someone has a piece that's waiting for the garbage bag. Please give me your price including shipping (priority) to Belgium.

For those who want to know why I need it : I'm modifying a plastic Philips 2D flashlight to a LED flashlight and I will put a DHS heatsink inside. Maybe that is not enough to dissipate all the heat from the LED so I want to put an extra piece of aluminum (the piece of a barrel) around it to provide some extra heatsinking.

When I bought some other stuff from Cmacclel, I asked him for a short piece of cutoff body if he had one available and he kindly included it with my order at no charge.

If you are looking to dissipate heat think some copper would be better?

Aluminum will do fine, there's not so much heat to be dissipated Thanks for the advice anyway
