YAY (new job)

I start work this Sun @ 3:00pm...

I'll be working @ The Country Lake Christian Retreat Center.

I'll be part of the retreat staff.

I'll make $7.00/hr. + $30 a day if I decide to take an "on call" shift.

I also do product photography for a Company on Ebay, and photography/media work on the side, for myself.

Plus this is really cool.... Thay have a "battery closet", for all the things at the Retreat Center that use batteries. I asked them if it was OK for me to get batteries from the closet for my flashlight that I'd be using at work and they said "Of course!"

I think I'll be upgrading to the high output lamp assembly.

That place is HUGE and when the sun goes down they get some quality dark!

I can't wait till my 1st "on call" shift (11pm-7am)

break out the surefires..

The $$$ is prolly not that important, but the work experience you gain and all the reference you'll get will help you a long way in life.

That's what I've been saying for a long time...

My work, for the last few years, has been mainly stuff that I enjoy. Granted, the money wasn't HUGE, I still enjoyed it..

My english teacher told me that if I get a job I enjoy I'll never work a day in my life.

I guess that old dude was right.. He was a teacher and he loved to teach even though he wasn't gettin paid a ton for doing it..

Beautiful camp - looks like a really nice place to be! I'm livin' the same kind of life in Northern Indiana, and it's the best experience I've lived yet!
