Has anyone tried modding a River Rock 2AAA light wih a Cree or Seoul?

That's the one. I have both a Cree and a Seoul emitter sitting around and thought I would try and mode this RR 2AAA with one. I already modded a 3 watt MXDL 3AAA with a Seoul star and the output is crazy on it. Same with Sorchas and Hasto headlights I got off kaidomain (kept the Hasto, sold the Sorcha), so now want to try and do this one.
According to the picts in the above thread, there's no heat sinking. Anyone know if that would be an issue?

Probably not a big issue. It is only being driven at 0.5 watt so it should be fine. You can always take a copper tube and make a heat sink by cutting off round section, flattening it out and trim to fit.
