yes, but not with the stock lamp. you'll need to use one of the following configurations. You should definitely read the guide to doing this... click on the link in my signature. It's everything I wish I could say when this question is asked.

Cell configuration: 1x17670

Bulb Options:
LF D26 HO-4: 7W, 50 min, 110 lumen
G&P D26 3.7V: 8W, 45 min, 125 lumen
WE D26 3.7V: 8W, 45 min, 125 lumen
LF D26 EO-4: 9W, 40 min, 135 lumen

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cell configuration: 2xRCR123

Bulb Options:
LF D26 ES-9: 7W, 45 min, 115 lumen
LF D26 SR-9: 9W, 30 min, 140 lumen
SF P90: 9W, 30 min, 130 lumen
G&P G90: 9W, 30 min, 130 lumen
Pathfinder P90: 10W, 25 min, 160 lumen
WE D26 9V: 10W, 25 min, 165 lumen
Pila GL3 LA: 10W, 25 min, 165 lumen

I have just started using this 7.4 10 Watt lamp from the ultrafire store. Seems a little brighter with 2xRCR123's than the 9 volt lamp assembly. And a little better than the single cell lamp assembly that I got from them as well.

Pellidon, would you be willing to test the current though that lamp on 2x RCR123s... It has always been my understanding that the "7.4V" ultrafire lamps were just rebadged G&P G90s, but if they are indeed whiter and brighter than their G90 cousins, then perhaps they are a completely different lamp.... I'd like to be able to include them in my charts if they are different in some way.

It draws 1.2 amps on a pair of 3.6 volt cells. The same cells on a 9 volt LA draws the same but the 7.4 LA looks brighter. From the meter readings, they may be the same lamp. I need to get a couple more to compare.

Of course that may be a variance from assembly to assembly. I don't know how much these lamps vary from lot to lot. I do know the 3.6 volt lamp assembly is about the same brightness level as my Surefire 8NX is. That is not as bright looking as my standard P60 assemblies are.
