I've had this phone for almost 4 years. It didn't sing. dance or make coffee, but was un-surpassed as a phone.

I was wrking on a rig out in the middle of a field after some hard rain. I had it in a soft case with a tab to click into the receptacle on my belt. Something made it let go and where did it fall? Right smack intio the biggest deepest puddle.

Anyhow for a couple days I have an UBBER-cheap Motorola phone that is less capable than the Nokia was.

Antone got any input on what my next phone oughtta be??? I rather value simplicity and ruggedness...

It will actually still work as a phone, but the screen stays blank. So it's worthless!

Yes I pulled the battery and the body off the thing.

Probably next week we'll hit the Cingular store and see what they have.

The main problem with the Motorola el-cheapo is that it can't be set to ring AND vibrate. One or the other, and that doesn't cover all my bases!

It's also a rather funky size and shape. No wonder it was so cheap!
