Surefire Lego

I've got numerous E2x and one E1e light. So the other night I took my most beat up parts and made a E2e from "damaged goods." Mushy switch, scratched body, and a bezel that has been bounced off the concrete more times than I care to admit. This is now my loaner light for people worthy of the responsibility.

Anybody else do this?

Sooner or later you have enough extra parts to make a whole flashlight. Thankfully the lego platform keeps me entertained trying new combos.

I keep my maglite as the general loaner.

Same logic as you: people have a tendency to not take care of something that is not theirs.
