LED Keychain Lightbulb

It might be fun to have one around, but I don't have a big enough keychain to hang it from.

Just letting everybody I know that I received it today.
It appears to have been designed as a disposable product, as I have not yet found a way to access the batteries.

Unscrewing the base reveals a spring; the white battery carriage appears to be well-attached to the plastic portion of the "bulb".

The LED is mounted low in the "bulb"; there is a hollow area inside the "bulb" so the LED's light is not well-captured. If it were well-focused, I'd have a beam photograph showing that...but internal refraction pretty much eliminates that possibility. :shakehead

I just ordered one of these lights from kaidomain. If anyone has managed to fully disassemble one of these lights I'd love to see some pics. Maybe some type of modding might be a possibility.(why leave something well enough alone:grin2:)

If you carefully pry the white inner portion out with a knife, you'll see this:

That's the picture I was hoping for....thank you very much:twothumbs. How fragile is that bulb? I think I read somewhere it's made from acrylic?
