You will start to see new QC (Quality Control) procedures on our LS next week. As this progresses, each LS flashlight will be sealed with a QC sticker signed by one of our QC people.

Before gaining that sticker, the flashlight must be checked against a list of items like housing, LED, switch, etc.

I will post here this weekend what our QC list is so you will have a better idea of what to expect from Arc product.

This could take several months to trickle out to all the dealers as old stock is sold and replaced with new stock.

Ah, so that's why my order's on hold so long.

Just joking.

For part 1, I can't comment on the completeness (although it certainly looks thorough!) because I'm just about to get my first Arc. If it's meant to be an ordered list though, wouldn't 1c (sealed in bag) go before or after all the light-check things such as laser engraving and lens protector?

Beyond that, were you thinking of distributing the checks to respective assembly stations so that it doesn't add overhead by #2-7 being done at the end of the line after the light has presumably already been assembled?

Wow, quite a checklist. Sounds like the customer will benefit greatly and you will now know who boo-booed and passed an out of spec item.

Good thinking.
