haha i laughed a little. those flashlights last about 2 weeks, then you put them in a drawer for 12 years, find the batteries dead, then you throw it away.

If you want a quick and dirty bright light what you can throw away when you want to, this makes a nice little project.

However if you counts $ per hour Surefire still wins IMHO.

I calculated a similar thing with my MiniM@g and E1W
The surefire won by FAR when it comes to bulbcost per h.

Considering that you can empty the AAs in another flashlight they are cheaper but not by a large margin.
