The kpr112 I saw in a video, its a 6v krypton bulb avail at radioshack.
Could I power 2 of these in parallel? in series? I know theres a better bulb out there... but is using a battery like this a good place to start for a diy?

If it's what I think it would probably not be a good battery for a light. They are 12 volt and if made for remotes then probably best for low current and long life with brief low power use. They are also somewhat expensive and probably wouldn't last long in actual use. Just a guess here but generally the existing batteries in use for incandescents are probably best.

I bet you're right in saying incandescent isn't the way to go. But what about 12v LEDs? (e.g., car lights?)
