Wouldn't it be great if LEDs were built to a standard, which could easily be replaced as easily as replacing a standard incan bulb.
Then you can upgrade from 3W to 5W to whatever easily.
Without having to resolder or throw away the old light. Imagine throwing away a desk lamp every time the bulb burns out.
