M1 vs M1 Tactical?

Besides a tactical momentary switch and a little bit longer profile, is there much difference between the two lights. Of the ones who own both, is one favored over the other? I'm mainly curious about the beam profile.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I have both the LP M1 XR-E original and tactical... The first notiable difference is the tailcap switch of course and secondly the reflector in the tactical one is deeper and hence the 'head' of the light is slighty longer. I think LP done this to extend the throw of the light. I cannot see much of a difference between the two in terms of beam profiles - they both throw extremely well, but I would have to say the tactical version has a slightly smaller hot spot. I like both of the lights but for ease of use (turn on etc) the tactical is the best. I use a smooth reflector in the tactical and an OP one on my original (and the beamshot comparsions were both using OP reflectors).... Hope this helps!
