Looks very bright, but I don't understand how it can be that much brighter than their other model if they both use the same circuit. Can anyone explain?

Ask yourself a question why very same Lumapower M3 with TurboForce head is much brighter than standart M3. Then U'll easly find the aswer. Sometimes size does matter :)
