Has There Been Any Word On The Release Of The New Surefire L1 Or......

Or are we still in the when it's done it's done phase?

Just curious as to if any of these have started to trickle into the system or if there is any ETA.

I think the current L1 with a SSC P4 transplant is the best version.

They sure take thier time.

I was waiting for those as well.
I appreciate SureFire taking their time to make things perfect. There seem to be some more manufacturers with that philosophy, like Arc which is still sticking to their good old Arc-AAA for example instead of replacing it with a new Cree model.
However in the meantime I have come to the conclusion that this philosophy is not mine.
I want high end flashlights with all features that are available at the very moment!
And there are other companies that share that kind of philosophy, like Fenix or LiteFlux to name just two.

Someone in another thread around here said an email reply from SF stated August 1st.

Yes, they said August 1st.
