Which is better of these two? And has anyone ever heard of UltraLast? The latter are available for 79¢ apiece, but I've never heard of it. I'm guessing Sanyo and Energizer are about the same.

Thanks!!

Ultralast are availible retail at Microcenter stores. There are okay for inexpensive batteries. In a pinch, a ~$4 for 2 pack of 123's at is good price for a retail store.

Well, if you could get a name brand for a buck apiece, or UltraLast for 79¢ bulk, which would be the best to go with? And which would be better, the Energizer or the Sanyo? Anyone have any experience with the Energizer?

I've used Sanyo and am happy with the results.

At one point, Sanyo manufactured Energizer cells.

I think that Energizer's, currently, are made by Panasonic.

Eitehr one is an excellent performer.

Ultralast are poor performers in my (informal) tests.

Yes, I know about the jeers. Still, I haven't had any problems with them and I always deal by credit card.

Panasonic is one of my favorite companies. May not be the best in all categories, but it's good enough that you won't generally end up on the bottom of the heap.
