Hi!
I'm pretty new to LED's so I thought I m ight ask you for some information for my ongoing project.

The projekt is a pretty simpel dive light with a seperat battery cannister and a modified MagLite D2 as lamp head.

To get longer battery time I have desided to use LED in it, the strongest ones I found was the Seoul Z-Power LED P4 star, white, 240 lumen. I have decided to use three of the and connect them together in a line. As they are 3,2 v each together tah tshould be 9,6v which just what my 8 NiMH gives.

I have also under stood I need some sort of constand current suply. On www.leds.de I found this baby https://www.leds.de/product_info.php?info=p294_Constant-current-supply-700mA.html

Would it work good together with the LED's? The LED's want 350mA-1000 mA but at 1000 mA they wouldnt have a very long life time. so perhaps 700 mA current supplier would work? There is also some other suppliers on the site.

And is there any other stuff I would need?

/Edvin
