i noticed when my batteries are running out on my nimh's that the rubber switch bloats.
i was using my l2d like a candlelight and sitting it upright. i noticed a drop in the output and a few minutes later the flashlight falls to the floor.
the rubber cap is swollen past the flat part so it cannot stand.
i switched to fresh batteries and it was fine until those batteries were running low.
unscrewing the tailcap released whatever pressure building up.
my question, what could be causing this and is it normal?
