Looks good Leefman ! :twothumbs

It would be interesting to see these on actual light.
So far I've not seen any Arc LS or HDS (with stock lens and seal)
where the/an after market bezel screws in without a gap.
Is this also the case with your bezel or have you taken care of it ?

Cheers ! :D

Yes, please show pictures of this bezel on some lights?

Neat looking bezel design! I believe the "upcoming...uh...never mind" that you didn`t mention could be something to watch for.... maybe? :grin2:

Bombelman, I'm afraid there'll be a visible gap on most heads. That's because of the short distance between the lens and the end of the head. A thinner lens, or a deeper head, would prevent this.

Of course, a shorter threaded section on the bezels would help, too, but I'll have to measure closely to see if that can be achieved w/o reducing the thread engagement too much. I'll check it out.

Photos soon.

What is the black stuff in the grooves?

Appears to be remnants of the metal polish that was used on these bezels. Should clean right up, no problem. ;)

Leef, a thinner lens is an easy fix for a small gap. Well, I am off to the Hound to place an order!

It does leave a gap on HDS lights (no surprise here) but it looks GREAT. Interesting design, with the "turbo"-style cutouts and the hashing on the outer band. It is unique and attractive.

Here are a couple photos of the LeefBezel on an Aleph 2 build I've dubbed 'Ethereal'...

BTW, if you don't like the coin edge on the LeefBezel, blame me, that was my fault.

A grey sand blasted smooth outer ring with gentle scallops would sell. This would really compliment a dark slate or ha-nat PD-S...........

Jaybee64, as soon as I can get the bezel off of my light, I'll try it. I'm guessing it will.

jumpstat, this would be easy to do. Is there anyone else who'd like this finish?
