On my surefire e2d the switch is stuck down. I can still turn the torch off and on by screwing the tailcap in but its stuck to on mode and i cannot turn it off.
Anyone had this problem before?
thanx

I never encountered this issue. But you can try to spray a little pro-gold / WD40 into the area enclosed by the white/black plastic material. Guess the switch mechanism had gummed up. If that doesn't work, call Surefire CS.

Good luck.

I had this problem on a few of these switches. Usually its a jammed spring. I usually take them apart - paying attention to how it goes together - clean, lubricate and reassemble. It might be something more serious though.

I only bought it a week or 2 ago so i emailed the guy i bought it off on ebay and he'd said that they would replace it. I think it may be something more serious though because when i take the tailcap off and shake it around it feels like the switch mechanism is loose and just bounces around underneath the rubber switch.
Thanx for the replies guys
