Just curious  , can a Fenix LOD-CE and L1D-CE head runs with Li-Ion battery like 10440 or 14500? I know how bright it will be but how safe or long will it last? and how about L2D-CE with 2x14500 will it blow? Can i swap P3D-CE head with L2D-CE body so i can use 2x14500 ?

Thanks

Yes it is safe. I don't know but I think Chevrofreak has done some runtime graphs? Try searching for his posts on them, perhaps.

I am not sure about the L2D-CE. I have heard that the P3D-CE will take 2xRCR123 at 3.7v safely.

The L2D will make magic smoke if you use 2 14500(8.4v fully charged). You can use the P3D head on the L2D body(2 x 14500) without any problems. The L1D, L2D, and P2D heads are exactly the same, using a boost circuit. For all modes to function, the voltage needs to be ~3.2 or less. The P3D head is uses a buck circuit so you can have input voltages as high as 8.4v with all modes operating correctly. The L1d can be run with a 14500 , but you will only get turbo until the voltage drops to ~ 3.2v.
