Anyone using this Drop-In Module for 2-3-4 D-Cell Maglite Flashlight?
[2-3-4 D-Cell Drop-In] looks pretty good but is it a little pricey?

There is a whole thread that the builder started(Malkoff=Gene43) People who have used it liked the drop-in a lot. 1100Milliamp to the Seoul with 4D batteries and it has tons of throw. He used to make premodded Mags but decided to make Drop-ins instead. As of right now, every drop in is made by hand(That's what I read).

As I keep saying, if Malkoff can get this drop in idea into some sort of larger quantity production he stands to make a lot of money. A decent upgrade option for Maglites would also polish up their tarnished reputation around here too IMHO

I believe he mentioned finding a place to machine the heat sinks . . .

I have been trying to find beam shots of a Fenix P3 against a G2 but no one seams to have one. I would also like to see a P3 against one of these. Anyone have all three? Or 2 out of 3 that could offer some insight or better yet, photos.
