I bought a MRV and love the throw, but reading in the forums that there is a LOW setting. I cant work out how to set it in low mode:thinking:

With the chrome light engine tightened all the way into the battery tube, it is on high. Slowly twist the battery tube away from the chrome light engine. When you hear a small click, and see the light dim, you are in low mode.
With a single 18650, the brightness drop is not too significant. With two CR123 or RCR123 cells, it is a pretty big drop.

Thanks datiLED and Thujone. The difference in brightness was not a great, but it's good to save a bit of battery life.
Lumapower should state how this is done as I have not read about this anywhere on there website (that I can find anyway).
