im a little confused about how drive my led's ive got some K2 LED's soon to order some P4's, im building a light using a cut down mag lite and some lenes from dotlight. ive got a 1400mA driver, now if i put say 4 leds in series at 3.2 volts will i need to have a input voltage of 12.8volts on the input side of the driver? i dont know how they work

You will need 12.8 Volts on the output side of the driver. If the driver(lets presume it is a prefect buck/boost driver) was intended for one LED, then the input of 12.8V will be lowered to 3-3.7V the LED needs to run. It might be helpful to state what driver you are using. I can't help anymore that that considering that I have never handled a led driver before.
