I agree, this is good news IMO. The increased competition and higher demand leads to increased production. The net result is lower cost LEDs and continuing innovation.

Don't worry; there will be a next-generation Cree-killer soon enough, and if you're willing to shell out the money, you can be back at the top of the ladder again...
