Just when we thought that the G&P R500 fever died down, G&P released a 5xCR123A and 4xCR123A flashlight with 3xCREE XR-E LEDs claiming a 500 lumen output, which is the same as the R500 incandescent version. Anyone got any info on runtimes or beam shots??

From the photos, the reflector design looks pretty ordinary, would have prefered full sized individual alloy reflectors though. I wonder how safe it is running 3 CREE LEDs on 15v???
