Reminds me of a punchline I heard last night at a comedy concert:

(I can't remember what it was that was worse than that! She was ripping on everyone, so you could substitute any joke for that punchline.)

If he gets the death penalty, it would probably be lethal injection. This is far too humane for someone like him.
