Hey everyone,
I have for sale a McGizmo Aleph 3 1xrcr123 in chrome. Finding an Aleph 3 now-a-days is hard enough, but here is a super rare beauty done in chrome. This light has been cherished and never carried. The light is in mint condition with the exception of 2 very, very small nicks in the bezel (see picture).
The light sports a SSC P4 USVOI LED driven by a FluPIC converter board. The tint is a very nice neutral white…very pleasing to the eyes. The FluPIC has all the usual features (10 user selectable levels, SOS, 5-15Hz selectable strobe, etc). The LED is in the optimal focal point via .030" spacer…no modifications done to the reflector meaning you can use your other Aleph LE's in this light (or use the FluPIC LE in another Aleph light!). The light uses a flat tailcap with McClicky installed.
Did I mention it is BRIGHT?? I measure +12,000 lux@ 1 meter with the FluPIC on burst. Definitely the *ultimate* pocket rocket!! Dare I say no other lights in its size category come close to the throw of this beauty? I just did! The McR38mm reflector is protected by a 2mm thick AR coated Sapphire window.
The price is set at $475 shipped CONUS via Priority Mail with deliver confirmation. Insurance is optional (I will not be held responsible for lost packages). I am willing to work with buyers outside of the US. First "I'll take it" posted in this thread gets priority.
SOLD TO AndiTieDye
Now for some pictures :naughty: :
Here is the small nick I referred to above:
I don't have many stock lights, but here is the light compared to the Six mode Cree Q2-bin Surefire dropin. All shots were done with both lights on their maximum settings and the camera on all fixed settings. Standard Sharpie pen for size reference.
Here is a ceiling shot. Lights are approx 9ft. away.
and here it is with EV -2
Hmm, those didn't come out too good. Both are too bright. The camera makes the A3 look like it has a much dimmer spill than the Cree Drop-in...not the case...how about some "real world" beamshots to get the truth :twothumbs The target is approximately 50 feet away.
Cree Q2 Drop-in
A3
The warmer tint of the USVOI helps greatly with color rendition!
Thanks
