Seouled Custom-Trilux-Aleph

Hello

Yesterday I modded my beloved Trilux-Aleph3 (Thanks to Freddy/Icarus) to SSC´s.
It had 3xLuxeon III, BB500 driver, 2-stages and is powered by 2xRCR123 cells.

Thanks to Scott(Tranquillity Base) my light got a new cell-tube, which looks and feels perfect:twothumbs.

Here is the light:



For size comparison with a Lumapower M1:




The gain in brightness due to the ermitter-swap is great.:twothumbs

Due to the shorter Khatod-reflectors, I mounted the ermitters on an extra copper-heatsink, so the height-problem between the glas-window and the reflectors is resolved.

Better than words, a few pictures.
Distance to the door is 20 meters, same settings.

With Luxeon´s on Low:

Good visible, the brightness of the sidespill with the SSC´s on Low is nearly the same like the Luxeon´s on High.

Perfect improvement,including the new batterie-dress:twothumbs...

Tom, as you can see I have a similiar light and I LOVE IT! It is an Icarus built Tri/Luxeon Aleph III. Chrome head & tailcap with a Bare Aluminum Tranqulity Base made battery tube in the same design as yours. The battery tube is perfect with set up IMHO. :thumbsup: If you are interested in a TB made Titanium A3 bezel ring for your light let me know. I put Mcr18 reflectors in imy light and there is a gap between the head and bezel but it looks great that way with the Chrome head and polished Ti bezel. Anyway, it is a for "FREE" offer so it is up to you and I`ll even polish it for you like the one pictured on my light if you would like.
