TLR-1 and Seoul?

Has anyone modded a TLR-1 with a Seoul?

I'd be interested to see/hear results.

i agree with that,
i've a TLR2 ( the tlr1 with laser ) moded with sscp4.
Good throw, good speal, and very very bright....
i don't want luxeon III any more.....

where to pick up that specific LED? and how could i obtain the instructions to modify the TLR1?

Do any of the "modifiers" offer this mod for the tlr1? New to this forum and looking for a little higher output from the tlr1. On another note, how do the small one cell lights from Peak and others compare to the tlr1 (80) lumens. The whole lumens and cp thing eludes me.

i'm sorry but if you are looking for a "little higher output from the tlr1" the seoul mod is not a good solution for you....... :thumbsdow



Because the SSC mod will give you near 200 lumens

You don't need gun anymore with this light...... Bad guys just hand up when they have the beam in the eyes.... lol

For the more, you have a longer running time with this mod, because , when the primary give you only 50% of light you are only at 100 lumens lol.....:thumbsup:

Well it's a great mod

To get the SSC properly focused the emitter has to be shimmed 0.030" = 0.762 mm. (using a copper disk) That's all.
No other operation.

i'have a great amount of throw and speal, with the luxeon III i only can see the target, with the sscp4 i can see the targer but all the room......

Okay I ordered a couple ssc from dx. Just what I need, another addiction. Now to search for the mod basics. Any tips from your modification?

I would also like to have my TLR-1 modded along with my Gladius.

I might give up hot wire with the right emitter

SSCP4 gladius i a very very very good flashlight.....
