I'm sorry for not putting this in the correct slot but ...

Does anyone remember a chat / thread or a simple mention where a guy talks about loaning is ProPolyStreamlight light to his sister who took it to central america and proceeded with the light, chop wood and poke a fire. (i'm kidding so was he)

The person posted a photo which made me buy the darn thing. It was burnt and bruused and he said it worked.

Does that ring a bell with anyone ?

I know exactly what your talking about...but the time when that thread was hosted the propolymers were widely discussed...so theres alot of threads to comb and most are in the archives

I'll update if I manage to find it...at least you can just PM the user

I'm hope I'm not dreaming this but ......

The poster said he leant his Pro Polymer to his sister (or cousin) who went to south america (or it might have been africa )and she burned it and otherwise abused the light. It was a great photo.
Darn I wish I could find it !!!

OK Danintex here with photos incoming. It was for a Dominican Republic trip my cousin took and she brought it back looking like... well, you'll see! It may take a bit to dig up the pics, though.
