CMG Ultra-G finish?

I received my Ultra-G. Very pleased with County Comm...asside from their great service, the finish on this light feels and looks a bit different than Surefire's Type III hard annodizing. Is that normal, or are they supposed to feel the same? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

The so-called "HA Type-III" finish of my Ultra-G also looks substantially different than my Arc AAA-LE and LS. The LE lives with my car and house keys in my pocket and shows very little wear. The Ultra-G hangs on a 'biner with my work keys and has a fair amount of bare metal showing. It doesn't seem to be nearly as abrasion or wear resistant as the HA used by Arc or Surefire. Other than that, for what it is, I do like the Ultra-G.
