corrosion problem?

hey i hav a question how do i clean the white stuff in the battery tube of mi flashlight? it's bothering me. it still works.....it's just everytime i replace the batteries i see it there...:sigh: and also is it seems like that i try to take care of mi flashlights but somehow i end up putting dings on them =(
help?

If you have any CLR (Calcium/Lime/Rust) it works great. If you've never heard of it, it comes in a grey bottle and the lable says... CLR! Also works good on shower heads if you have a lot of minerals in your water like I do!

If the white stuff is from battery acid then use baking soda mixed with water.
