Hey,

Just wondering if anyone here knows of a good host for putting in cree/ssc/rebel stars into??

main criterias are:
body color: black
switch: tail clickie (reverse is ok)
batteries: 3xAAA
must be able to tailstand
multi mode would be ok... single is fine...

other things like glass lens... alum reflector would be nice... also... if there's a regulator circuit in there... even better.. then i don't have to put one in...

i know alot of you will tell me the elly... but i really don't like the look of that thing...

thanks,

KraZy

batteries: 3xAAA
worst scenario for a light to mod, immediately skipped only for that.

PS: the best light for modding is one that runs on 2 CR123s or, better, already with an 18650 Li-Ion.
Thats the best performance-size ratio in the moment, imho

well... the reason for the 3xAAA is that those are easy to get

i don't wanna be using it and run outta juice...

and i really like the size of the lights that use 3xAAA's...

any suggestions would be good...

You could also buy the Fenix L2D-CE? The only criteria that it doesn't meet are 3AAA(the Fenix L2D-CE runs on 2 AAs) and modified.

From what I have seen, any Modded light that fits all your criteria will cost more than a manufactured light. But of course, modding a light is more fun.
