Hi,

Can anyone please let me know which drop-in will fit my Surefire E2E?

This is my first Surefire and I would like to kit it out with a CREE (I say say CREE because I want throw, is this right?) based LED.
Just not sure which one will fire it up the most.

Thanks for your help.

.

good luck i dont think there is a led drop-in for that light unless you make one but you can get a lumens factory incan bulb for improved brightness

Sunny, jbosman is right, no DX drop in will work as they are all D26 in size. I use the EO2r in my E2E and E2D

Or get the KL1 head, modd it with SSC or XRE, using the stock optics and circuit boards.

Yeah I wish there was a drop in too. Instead I had milky make up an amazingly bring smooth head using a first gen kl1 head (usually can find them for alot less) and he threw in a Seoul p4 with a Mc18 reflector cut down just right. Used the stock driver that was already inside.

Yeah it cost more than the DX drop ins do, but its absurdly well built, and of course has a high resale value as well, which should help if you're on the fence....alas I know its a shame seeing the e2e head sitting around empty...

Thanks for the info...

What about this one?

-- Compatiable with SureFire 6P, D2, C2, E2, Z2 & M2, G&P T-6, X-6, M3, and UltraFire 6P, etc.

Interesting...

I think that site may have been looking only at the voltage aspect.

Physically that wont fit in a E2 head.

Well it might fit after a visit to a milling machine.

Sunny, it definitely wont fit, it is listed as 27mm across which is wider than your whole torch! Without changing heads or sending this to a custom modder I think you wont find what you are looking for.

Have you taken the globe out of your E2E? You might notice that the reflector stays in which is the opposite of all the D26 drop ins you have been looking at.
