G2 cree drop-in

I'm looking for a cheap cree drop-in for my g2. I'd like to use a protected 17670 (maybe also from dx) in it. What are the differences between

I don't mean to steel your thread, but I've got a similar question:

I'm looking for a reliable Cree dropin for my SF G2Z.

I'm aware that there are lots of options e.g. Wolfeyes D 26 Cree, Lighthound sells one, and finally there are all the different ones at dealextreme.
Are the more expensive ones (like Wolfeyes) really better/brighter than the cheap ones?

What would you recommend for use in my G2Z with a Wolfeyes LRB 169B (or Aw's 18500) rechargable (1500mah/3,7V)?

- Do I have to worry about heat issues?
- What are the runtimes (and how long is it regulated at full output)?
- Is there a dropin that can stand up to the P1D-CE on high in terms of output and throw?


Lots of questions, I know, but with all the options its quite confusing!
