So who's excited about the Microstream?

Hmmm...... it's cute, and I'm sure the clicky will appeal to some folks, but I think I'll stick with my 2 mode Miller Mod ARC AAA Cree..... it's about as close to the perfect AAA light as I can think of (of course, at 5 times the cost I guess it should be, ha).

Been thinking about it here. Not a bad light for under 20 bucks. Think I'm going to wait until I see some input here at CPF.

I like the looks of it. I would like to see some reviews first. Are they being sold yet?

I think the 1AAA is a bit big compared to other offerings out there but does look to be solid. The 2AAA model seem more interesting to me and looks to be a cool penlight replacement. I would be interested in seeing what kind of beam profile these optics make.

It's just real hard for me to get excited about this light when you have AAA lights with real emitters putting out real amounts of lumens like these...

See my mini review I just posted regarding both the MicroStream and the Stylus Pro.

I like them a lot, but I don't have any of the DX lights shown to compare them to. I can say that USPS shipping from Lighthound only took 3 days. Shipping time was one of the reasons I haven't ordered anything but the Hyperion from overseas lately.
As for beam quality, it's great. Despite their descriptions in the StreamLight info, they don't have optics. It's a normal reflector and a window.

You are quite right Kurt. There are different lights to fit the needs of different people. What I like, the other guy might not...and visa versa. Thanks for pointing that out.
