How do M@g charging ports work?

I've seen a few modified M@g's on cpf with charging ports integrated into the tailcaps and was wondering how these are done. Wouldn't there need to be a lead to the positive end of the battery for this to work? But then the wires would get all twisted when the tailcap gets screwed on, no? I'm sure Mirage_man, Modamag, or Fivemega would know best, but I didn't want to pm them all.

Thanks.

FiveMega does a lot of these on his lights. The charging port is actually attached to the battery pack. The tailcap just has a hole in it that fits very closely around the extended charging jack, so there is no twisting of any wires as the tailcap is put on. The battery pack doesn't use any wires either, the center positive of the charging jack contacts the end of the center rod on the battery pack and the positive end of the battery pack screws onto the other end of the center rod.
