I received an e-mail from LED Lighting Supply and they told me that the XR-E R2 is available. Part # XR7090RD-L1-R2-K-C-0001

I am ordering some of these now. i'm excited!!!!

XR7090RD is a RED LED, i think...

Just when we were getting all excited about the Q bins!

I want an R3 bin cree !

I think the R bins are RED. Can anyone confirm this.

I've checked HERE. It's a Cree XR red LED, R2 is just a dominant wavelength binning (620 - 625nm).

Don't get excited...

The funny thing is by this time next year the R2 bin will probably be old news, much like the P2 or P3 bins are now. We'll all be lusting for whatever bin comes after the R4, perhaps the S2, or S3.

Yes, the part number is for a red 7090, not an R2 binned XR-E. :mecry:
