I have been working on modding some classic old LED lights with the newer emitters and have found that the Seoul emitters work very well with the McFlood reflector. No height adjustments necessary. These McFloods had been polished to remove the nickle plating and the beam with a Seoul is a bright big hotspot with a very bright corona. Not nearly as much throw as with a McR18S, but much nicer for close work. I mention this because the McFlood was a direct replacement size-wise for the NX-01 and NX-05 optics and this could give some old lights new life, if you can find a McFlood that is.
