Fenix mod possible?

I got my P3D about a month or two ago and I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable folks could tell me if it would be possible to mod the P3D so that when the bezel is tightened all the way it's in normal mode, and when it's loosened it's in turbo. If I don't twist the bezel just right it changes modes on it's own/when it's shaken some times. If it's not possible, has any one else experienced this with their P3D, my head seems to fit a bit loose, which I suspect might be the problem.

Like they say, if it hurts, don't do it.

I found my P2D won't switch modes properly if I don't unscrew the head as much as I'm supposed to.. ie: If you screw it all the way down for Turbo, then unscrew it just a little, it'll go to low. But it's not reliable there, Low mode just does some weird stuff and doesn't switch modes.

Just unscrew it slightly more.

Changing the mode programming might be possible (there's a thread on the plans to explore just that) but NON trivial.
