Is SF L5 still on indefinite hold?

I hope it never happens. Wouldn't be an L5 (KL5), Never be able to duplicate that bean shape with a Luxeon, Cree, or Seoul. Not with that size reflector.

Entrekman, the current KL5, due to the nature of the Lux V emiter, casts a wide beam with lux pretty much evenly spread throughout the entire beam. There is a defined hot spot, but it is not intense like the beam of a Cree'd, or Seoul. The beauty of the KL5 beam is that great spread out illumination that makes it easy to use close up and has a lot of lux at the edge of the beam to navilgate by.

Or just use a Wolf Eyes cree with my diffuser and have a L5 on steroids:thumbsup:

Its just a guess but I think if I Surefire releases it, we'll see a Rebel in it.
