Do the new ARC LS lites with the push off/on buttons (clickie) still retain the twist on function ?
Thanks,

The simple answer is no.

The on/off function is a result of the tail pack you choose to use. If you use the TSP-123 (recommended), it no longer requires a twist action to operate. Instead, it uses the easier to operate dual-mode push button.

I hated the looks of the clickie till I tried one at the TAD table at a knife show......it is now a "must-have" and is on the LSH-P that is on it's way to me. Coolest little light and switch combo I've had the pleasure to hold.
I do wish it would stand on end "candle-style", but I can figure out a work-around if need be!

The clickie is extremely handy. Although I like the twist on for standing on a flat surface, it is not as handy to operate. So it is a trade off: greater ease of operation for candle mode usage.

Since I got my clickies, I haven't used my twist ons, though I have them if I actually need them. (My LSes are both rev1)
