How hard is it to modify an Inova T4?

I have 2 Inova T4s that I use while on duty. I would sacrifice run-time for brightness, since I can throw them in the charger after every use. Is it as easy as changing a current limiting resistor in the light to get a higher output? I don't care if it will shorten the life of the bulb... with a 100,000hr bulb, I'll have the next best thing long before the bulb burns out.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

From what I've read you have to use the freezer pop method to take the light apart...repeated filling of the light with water and freezing to pop the bezel out. The tiros optic can damage in this process it seems and getting it back together is the even trickier part. With that said, there are some who have done it.
