Firefox help

When visiting a forum site (FOlding @ Home), if not logged in, I can read the forums. When I log in, I only get a white/blank screen. Any idea what is causing it?

I'd pst my query there but since I get a white screen, I feel essentially banned. My account is not banned BTW.

One big cause of not being able to login or login errors is cookies and cache.

Try deleing both.

Tools > Clear Private Data...

I tried that...it enables me to read the forum but trying to post is

Looking at the error console, there are many lines with this message:
Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method Location.toString

Message in error console:
No chrome package registered for chrome://communicator/content/utilityOverlay.xul .
No chrome package registered for chrome://communicator/content/tasksOverlay.xul .

Try Firefox in safe mode. I think you have a theme or extension that is conflicting.

Safe mode was same too, blank page for that one forum. IE reacts the same too. I've disabled and checked various firewall and security programs and it's still zip. Oh well...

The answer is .... Opera - Well I don't really know that but I think it's one of the best browsers and possibly the most underrated and least tried. You might give it a try - www.opera.com - Free of course.

That sounds like a JavaScript error on that site. I have a feeling you aren't the only member there with this problem.

I was going nuts trying to trace it.

It seems ok now with my Firefox. Likely something they messed up, and fixed now.
