I've done a few simple mods, pills & arrays, now its time to do something a little more exciting!
I have used these for many years with the upgrade 20w halogen bulb that is very bright but runs the battery down in about 30 minutes of constant use and gets a little hot around the head. I have decided to sacrifice 1 for testing a 5w LS to see if these new superduper LEDs can give better performance.
The original battery is 6.0v nicad (5X1.2v) that I will probably change to something more suitable for overdriving the LS. (9v seems to be the magic number)
