Can I use 17670 in New Cree E2L? Does the diameter fit? Will the output/ color temp weak due to 4.2V vs. 6V ?
Can I use RCR123 in New Cree L1? Will the circuit sustain 4.2V vs. 3V? Can I use low mode and high mode?

The L1's body won't accept protected RCR123's. The cells are slightly too big. Also, I believe this is the case with the E2L and 17670's.
