Sold/Expired Search on hold for now

Hey Guys,

Looking for one in excellent condition(no nicks, dings or scratches).
Must have a knurled tailcap and a CLEAN reflector(No smudges/scratches)

It seems I can't get a Novatac with a clean reflector/centered emitter:shakehead

So I'm going back to the classics!

Groundhog 66 is selling somthing (it is a seoul modded 42 vs a 60) close to what you are looking for in the marketplace.

If you received a bad Novatac why not return it to the retailer ot Novatac in exchange for a new unit?
The one I received has none of the problems you describe and is miles ahead of the three stock HDS's I own.
Infact When I examine the reflectors HDS used when compared to the reflectors Novatac has used ..the HDS reflectors are pretty wavy and less than optically perfect.

Lighthound was nice enough to send me a replacement.
When it arrived, it has more lube than the first. So I'm giving up
unless you want to sell me yours


Anyway, I just ordered a dropin from Malkoff for my new Surefire 6PD.
I got very lucky he had a few!
This will keep me happy, so my HDS quest is over until Henry comes out with his new line.

Sorry I like mine enough to want to keep it. Sorry you are having such rotton luck with it INHO it is rather nice.
so you are replacing the NEW emitter in the led version of the 6P with a new drop in repaccment? What advantage does the drop in have over the stock setup?
It sounds like nothing makes you happy out of the box.
is that correct?

No It's not.
My McGizmo's/HDS/Surefire's and Fenix's are perfect out of the box.

But,I prefer Incandescants at certin times and LED at others.
Have you never heard of Gene's (Malkoff) P60 Cree drop ins?
