Seoul/Cree/Rebel drop in for Maglite?

I still have dreams of upgrading my old 2D I've had for a long long time but cost wise it never seems effective to use a drop-in.

For me, the basic issue was paying that much ($25) for a not very sexy result. But having put a TerraLux (old gen LED) in my 3C Mag, its one of my favorite lights. Easy to hold, simple, durable, very functional, touch the batteries once a year, and performance to spare.

Here's a mod for the 2D mag that I'm going to do for myself. If you want more brightness use 2 micropucks in parallel instead of the one detailed in the mod.
