Wizards in Africa

Well, the dat2zip Wizards have landed in Africa! And with a gold plated Tamiya type connector I now have the option of using a anything from 3-9V on my LS Petzl by just fitting the battery pack of choice. So... what shall I use? The 3AA adaptor, the 3LR12 4.5V block (standard battery pack) or maybe the waterproof Petzl Duo battery pack (re-wired from 4xAA in series to 2x2AA parallel).
Decisions, decisions...
